Noguchi Freeform Sofa Reproduction

This is perhaps the longest sofa I have ever seen, but I think it is truly impressive! This past week, we unveiled our own version of the Freeform Sofa that was designed by Isamu Noguchi in the mid-1950s. With it's smooth lines and rounded edges, the inspiration came from a river rock that was smoothed and rounded over time. About 9 feet long, this piece is not going to fit into everyone's home. In fact, the first person to purchase this sofa (actually the one shown), had to rent a crane and a 4 man team to lift it into her condo! It wouldn't fit into the elevator. Fortunately, it made it without destroying the sofa or the outside condo wall.

Modern Classics Furniture Company is pleased to add this mid-century modern furniture reproduction to our line. It is available in 12 fashion fabric colors in pure wool and is made in our own factory. See our Noguchi Freeform Sofa today.
