Closer Look: Le Corbusier's Basculant Sling Chair Replica

In 1928, Le Corbusier decided to join forces with Charlotte Perriant and Pierre Jeanneret to create the first of their many collaborative pieces, the LC1 Basculant Sling Chair.  Drawing inspiration from the British officer’s chair, the adjustable back and slope of the seat angles the body into a position of ultimate comfort.

Our replica of this classic chair has a frame that is crafted from polished stainless steel, along with rounded miter joints.  Unlike other replicas of the Basculant Chair on the market, our dimensions closely match the authentic version and have been adjusted for greater comfort.  Crafted from High Quality Italian leather and genuine cowhide belting, there are 15 options to choose from when selecting this timeless chair.  Read all about how our Basculant Chair replica compares on our website.
