Eileen Gray's Bold Bibendum Chair

Following the success of Le Corbusier’s Grand Confort, in 1926 Eileen Gray was compelled to design a feminist version of her misogynist rival’s design.  The result was a rounder and softer lounge chair, inspired by the Michelin man, we now know as her ‘Bibendum Chair.’

Our Eileen Gray Bibendum Chair Reproduction sits upon a polished #304 Stainless Steel Frame and an interior frame made of solid hardwood to ensure a lasting durability.  The thick contour sections of our version make it a comfortable statement piece, just as Eileen Gray originally intended.

You can check out all we have to offer by visiting any of our three showroom locations in BellinghamChicago or Dallas!
